What is in the medicine?
It is a combination of Paracetamol, Phenylephrine Hydrochloride and Chlorphenamine Maleate. Paracetamol has analgesic and anti-pyretic properties and weak anti-inflammatory activity. Phenylpropanolamine HCI decongestant works by constricting (shrinking) blood vessels (veins and arteries) in your body. Constriction of blood vessels in your sinuses, nose, and chest allows drainage of those areas, which decreases congestion. Chlorphenamine Maleate is an anti-histamine used for the symptomatic relief of allergic conditions.
FORMULATION:
- Each tablet contains:
- Paracetamol ……………. 500mg
- Phenylephrine Hydrochloride ….. 10mg
- Chlorphenamine Maleate ……. 2mg
INDICATION:
Relief of symptoms associated with common colds or flu such as headache, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies, nasal congestion, sneezing runny nose, fever and minor aches and pains.
PRECAUTION:
Should be given with care to patients with impaired kidney or liver functions.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
- Adults and children 12 years old and older.
